Welcome to Le Ségala set in a peaceful valley of the Northern Lot

                          

The gîte is on a smallholding with a beautiful barn and an abundance of walnut and fruit trees.

	The 7m round pool (1.5m deep) for your exclusive use - and is cleaned and maintained for you. It enjoys wonderful views across the valley and is in a fully fenced area and has an alarm system that conforms to EU regulations. Also outside, there is a lawn on which you might enjoy a game of boule or badminton (sets provided). There is a barbeque and a shaded eating area which happily seats up to 10 people. You also have your own parking area.
	Inside the house you will find a beamed country kitchen/dining room with a lovely 'cantou' fireplace with wood burning stove, and the original flagstone floor. You are provided with an oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster and kettle. Next door to the kitchen (reached from outside) is the old bread oven which houses an additional fridge, the washing machine, iron and ironing board - there is a washing line in the garden.
	The living room is also beamed and has comfortable seating for all. A variety of games are provided and there is a television set on which to watch DVDs or videos - we provide a choice for all ages. There is also a CD/radio player.
	There is one ground floor bedroom with a double bed. It has its own separate shower room and toilet facilities.
	Upstairs there are two double bedded rooms, one of which is reached from the kitchen. A second bedroom with twin beds and the other double bedded room are reached from the living room.Each of these rooms has its own shower room and toilet and all retain the original beams. An additional single bed and a cot is available on request at the time of booking.
	Arrival is on Saturdays after 4.00pm - if you would like a pre-prepared light meal left in the fridge, or some basics, do let us know. Departure is before 10.30am on Saturday in order that we can ensure that the house is prepared for our next guests.
	Les Quatre Routes du Lot is five minutes by car and has a choice of bakery, a supermarket, wine merchant, post office, newsagent, pharmacy and ATM machine. It has its own market on Wednesday and a mini one on Fridays. Bread can also be bought from one of our neighbouring farms as can the famous Rocamadour goat's cheese. Full banking services are available in either Martel or Vayrac. We can arrange a simple meal for you on arrival and can put you in touch with caterers for a special evening meal too!
